Our Weekly Journey highlights the specific learning taking place in each room, while portraying the possibilities and future pathways that provide opportunities to scaffold, transform, monitor, review and evaluate learning and development in partnership and direct reference to the learning outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework. Our Weekly Journey includes learning stories that are generally individual, or small group based in order for educators to focus specifically on each child’s learning development; what has been learned/achieved/understood and how this learning can be extended. These records of a child’s knowledge, learning and development showcase their understandings, skills and abilities and activates educators knowledge, insight and fresh perspective to specifically plan further to expand each individual child’s learning experiences.
